Retrospective Game for Two Players
Vybíral, Jan ; Bartoš, Pavel (referee) ; Pospíchal, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the development of a 2D space arcade computer game. The introduction describes the history and current status of the game industry and computer graphics. Then the text deals with the libraries OpenGL and SDL chosen for development, design of game principles, realization of graphics and audio, collision system, user interface, controls and the object oriented design of the application. The second part gives an account of the implementation of the designed system in the C++ programming language. Finally the thesis contains information about the testing and evaluation of the final product.
Detection and measurement of electron beam in TEM images
Polcer, Simon ; Vičar, Tomáš (referee) ; Chmelík, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with automatic detection and measurement of the electron beam in the images from a transmission electron microscope (TEM). The introduction provides a description of the construction and the main parts of the electron microscope. In the theoretical part, there are summarized modes of illumination from the fluorescent screen. Machine learning, specifically convolution neural network U-Net is used for automatic detection of the electron beam in the image. The measurement of the beam is based on ellipse approximation, which defines the size and dimension of the beam. Neural network learning requires an extensive database of images. For this purpose, the own augmentation approach is proposed, which applies a specific combination of geometric transformations for each mode of illumination. In the conclusion of this thesis, the results are evaluated and summarized. This proposed algorithm achieves 0.815 of the DICE coefficient, which describes an overlap between two sets. The thesis was designed in Python programming language.
Registration of MR Images and Histological Sections
Martinásková, Klára ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Jiřík, Radovan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with methods of multimodal image registration. The work is focused specifically on the registration of histological sections and MR images, which various studies examine because of improving oncological diagnostics. A substantial part of the work is devoted to theories of registration - types of registration, geometric transformations, criterial functions, interpolation and methods of optimization. There is also an overview of tools, which can be used for multimodal image registration. MR images and histological sections were provided from three different sources. The program for image registration was created in software MATLAB 2020a with a graphical user interface and it includes a converter for editing images before the registration began. In conclusion, the results of registration were analyzed.
Interactive teaching aids for 3D computer graphics
Balusek, Radim ; Průša, Zdeněk (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the creation of interactive tools for 3D computer graphics. The introduction of the thesis focuses on general theory of curves and surfaces and its mathematical description. The topics of Geometric transformation, Perspective projection and Parametric description of 3-dimensional surface are analysed in more detail. The successive chapter deals with the subject of visualisation of spatial objects in Java platform interface. The practical part describes the implementation of individual applets. JAVA programming language, which uses the library functions JOGL, was employed for the very realization of the interactive tools. The goal of the diploma thesis is the creation of a set of interactive applets in the field of computer graphics. These applets will be placed on the website of the faculty and they will serve students of VUT in Brno to improve the quality of education.
Image Transformations
Novák, Radim ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Venera, Jiří (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to introduce two fundamental geometric transformations in 2D space - by changing the resolution together with related image resampling and image rotation. Also brightness interpolation, technique of mapping and other problems related to the topic are explained there, i.e. Fourier transformations, problem with aliasing and technique of aliasing suppression.
The use of invariants of geometric transformations to solving problems
Doubrava, Jiří ; Zamboj, Michal (advisor) ; Beran, Filip (referee)
This thesis deals with the division of bijective collinear geometric mappings. It deals with a corresponding view on its respective problems and their solutions. The main part of the thesis is a collection of solved problems in the field of plane geometry, which are divided into several groups. The thesis can be used by both mathematics teachers and students at the secondary schools. The thesis is divided into two parts; the first part is theoretical and it contains a brief introduction to the basic concepts concerning invariants of geometric transformations and a description of the structure of geometry according to Felix Klein including his Erlangen program; the second part contains the actual assignments and so- lutions of the problems. The solutions of some of the problems are supplemented by im- ages created in GeoGebra software for better illustration. The images play an important role even in the theoretical part, where they can help improve understanding of some of the more complex concepts. Some of the problems were created by the author, other prob- lems are taken from sources listed in the list of bibliography. KEYWORDS geometric transformations, groups, Erlangen program, invariant, solved problems
